In Paris, I must be amongst the very few people who deeply wants to see snow everywhere. Here, it is in vogue to blame all types of meteorological conditions, as the sun is insupportable and the snow is even more insupportable. It might just be my own belief, yet, I miss Kiev for those sidewalks sleeping under a cover of snow. I started to miss Kiev even more when I discovered that the city is conquered by snow a couple of days ago. But if you don’t agree with me and you miss the warm fall days, here are some pictures that were shot last year, in 2015.
I came across this navy check printed blazer at Zara and immediately loved it. Not only I wanted a double-breasted blazer at that time, but I also have something to wear today if I feel like jumping on a plane and flying to the Pitti Uomo planet. The vintage Yves Saint Laurent shirt is as mysterious as the man who is creatively behind it, as it changes its color when the sun hides. For those who have spotted a Lanvin pin brooch mixed up with the Dior “Abstract” sunglasses, you are totally right, it is not a coincidence. I will remain silent and keep my opinion to myself as far as the departure of two virtuosos that I will admire forever is concerned. Let’s suppose the darkness of the flower pin demonstrates my sadness towards the last catastrophes that affected the fashion world, and that the lenses are here to reflect the bright future.
